K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Dr Althea – 345 Relief Cream

When Dr Althea’s 345 Relief Cream first came out, I was particularly interested in its lightweight, gel consistency which is meant to boost the skin barrier and provide relief – exactly what my sensitive skin needs! It contains heartleaf, resveratrol, beta-glucan, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, centella asiatica and niacinamide – some great ingredients!

I held back for a couple of months then finally decided to buy the 345 Cream during a Black Friday sale where I got it for £15! 😎

As part of a Mixsoon x Yesstyle collaboration, I was kindly sent the Mixsoon Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum in exchange for an honest review – here it is!

This hyaluronic acid serum incorporates glacier water from Alaska as well as hyaluronic acid in 3 different forms to boost hydration. It claims to be a lightweight and hydrating serum which is suitable for all skin types.

Anua Skincare

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Anua – Niacinamide 10 TXA 4 Serum

This serum in particular went viral online this year, with lots of positive reviews about it’s brightening and hydrating properties. Personally, I held back from buying it due to (a) I really don’t need another brightening serum, I have enough to be trying already! and (b) I also had my eye on the Anua Azelaic Acid serum at the time 👀

The Niacinamide + TXA serum contains 10% Niacinamide and 4% Tranexamic Acid, both popular brightening skincare ingredients. These are alongside hyaluronic acid and ceramides which help to hydrate the skin and maintain a healthy skin barrier – lots of goodies in there!

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Anua – Heartleaf Quercetinol Pore Deep Cleansing Foam

I received the Anua Heartleaf + BHA Cleansing Foam as part of a collaboration between Anua x StyleKorean a couple of months ago – lucky me! I’ve had a good amount of time to test this one out on my combo sensitive skin so here’s my review 😊

The cleanser claims to help unclog pores, exfoliate and reduce irritation due to the combination of BHA (exfoliating acid) and heartleaf (soothing extract). BHA is also known for being good at getting rid of blackheads.

K-beauty SKIN1004 Skincare

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: SKIN1004 – Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Silky-Fit Sun Stick (SPF50+ PA++++)

After reaching the end of my Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Sun Stick, I found myself in search of a new one. There’s been a lot of talk around SKIN1004’s sunscreens online so I decided to try out their Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Sun Stick.

This sun stick claims to give you a matte, sweat-resistant finish that is long-lasting and prevents any unwanted shine. It uses SKIN1004’s Hyalu-Cica Complex (also found in their famous sunscreen which I have yet to try!) which is meant to help soothe redness and support the skin barrier.

Glint K-beauty Make-up

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Glint – Stick Highlighter (#01 Dewy Moon)

After my disappointed review of Lilybyred’s Luv Beam Glow Veil highlighter, I decided to opt for a stick highlighter instead. I spent a while researching different highlighters and reading reviews on how natural vs dazzling the product looked on the face.

Following this, I settled for the Glint Stick Highlighter which seemed to have a lot of positive reviews already, promising to deliver a sheer and dewy finish to the skin.

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Anua – Azelaic Acid 10 Hyaluron Redness Soothing Serum

When I first heard of the Anua Azelaic Acid serum, I was immediately tempted to buy it. I’ve always had a low level persistent redness on my cheeks and I’d heard good things about azelaic acid before, just never tried it. After seeing how well the serum was received by others, I decided to buy it for myself a few months later.

Clio K-beauty Make-up

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Clio – Kill Cover Mesh Glow Cushion Mini (#03 Linen)

One of Clio’s popular cushions: the Kill Cover Mesh Glow Cushion!

I purchased the mini version of this one, as 1) I am a fan of testing out products using minis first so I know if I am ready to commit to a full size product 2) Saves a bit of money if I want to try out a few different products 3) Great for travelling 4) They are cute 😊

I’d heard a lot about this cushion giving your skin a long lasting glow while also providing a light to medium coverage. It uses a mesh filter which allows the foundation to adhere thinly and evenly to the skin.

K-beauty Romand

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Romand – Twinkle Pen Liner (#02 Golden Wave)

I got this liner during a Black Friday sale – specifically, it came as a freebie with my order! I haven’t used glitter in a pen form before so I was quite interested in giving this one a go. Seems convenient right, applying glitter with a slim brush liner means more precise and cleaner application.

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Romand – Juicy Lasting Tint (#28 Bare Fig)

My second Juicy Lasting Tint by Romand! My first one was #01 Juicy Oh! which I reviewed here. I was quite pleased with its performance and got a decent amount of use out of it. Though having seen newer shades released by Romand, I was curious to try #28 Bare Fig which appears to be a gorgeous pink-purple shade!

Romand’s Juicy Lasting Tints are glossy lip tints with an ever-expanding range of gorgeous colours to choose from. #Bare Fig is one of the shades I’ve seen trending recently which is what convinced me to try it out 😁

Keep reading to see my thoughts on the lip tint and if I’m still a fan of the formula…

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Haruharu Wonder – Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence

Introducing the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Probiotics Barrier Essence!

This is a popular K-beauty essence which combines ceramides, fatty acids and black rice extract to nourish and hydrate the skin. I’ve had mixed reviews of Haruharu’s sunscreens recently so I hoped the essence would like up to the positive reviews I’d heard online. This essence was kindly sent to me by Haruharu Wonder in exchange for my honest review.

Abib K-beauty Skincare

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Abib – Heartleaf Mild Sunscreen Relief Tube (SPF50+ PA++++)

I’m always on the look out for a good physical or hybrid sunscreen as my sensitive skin tends not to like chemical formulas yet physical formulas also can be too drying 😭

Then I came across Abib’s new sunscreen line, specifically the mineral sunscreen – the Heartleaf Mild Sunscreen Relief Tube. Among the ingredients are heartleaf extract, centella asiatica, panthenol and allatoin – all good for calming and supporting the skin barrier. It sounded very soothing and calming, and was also a physical formula, so I decided to test it out!

K-BEAUTY REVIEW: Peach C – Peach Glow Makeup Base

If you like peaches, here’s a product for you! Peach C’s Peach Glow Makeup Base is the closest you’ll come to a real peach when doing your make-up 🤣🍑

This is a make-up primer which gives you a luminescent glow to brighten your skin while also prepping it for make-up application. It uses smart pearl powder, peach fruit extract and squalane to moisturise the skin while improving your complexion – sounds like a great primer for dry skin, right? 😉
